What We're Sipping: Kir Marcellé

Writer's picture: Andréa MarcelléAndréa Marcellé

Kir is a popular French cocktail typically made with a measure of crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) and topped up with white wine. It is usually served as an aperitif, before a meal. We've put a fresh twist on the original. Chambord liqueur is similar to cassis in its deep color, but its flavoring is black raspberries. Mmmm!

Add a twist of lemon and voila!

3 oz Pink Champagne

1 oz Chambord liqueur

Twist of lemon

(Sugared rim optional)
